A Thank You Note
Dear Ones,
Over these past months, we have been honored by your hospitality, patience, kindness, and wisdom as we found our new home in Brookhaven. From food and supplies dropped off at our doorstep during our move-in, to warm invitations to (socially distant) activities, to recommendations on the best places to get things, I want to offer a heartfelt "thank you" on behalf of my family. Emily has loved joining you for tennis or a walk around the neighborhood. I have enjoyed trips to the local hardware store. Waverly has laughed while running in Trinity Park. Our dog, Brighid, has experienced many pats on the head. We have all eaten our weight in local food (and will continue to do so).
Redeemer is a rich and vibrant parish. It has been strange to start my ministry here amidst social distancing constraints. Even though I have met or talked with many of you, and though we have begun public worship, I still feel that I have not had a chance to really see Redeemer do Redeemer.
We look forward to when we can gather as a larger family. Until that time, please involve yourself in the life of the parish as you see fit, whether that is at home or on the property— either way, we are still Redeemer.
Thank you again for all of your help and support. This is a Spirit-filled community, and we are honored to have been made apart of it.
Warmly,
Fr. Andrew, Emily, and Waverly
